At Word & Seed, we believe every order represents more than a product—it represents an opportunity to help someone grow deeper in God's Word. We are committed to serving our customers with excellence, transparency, and integrity. The following Shipping Policy explains how we process, prepare, and ship orders so you know what to expect when shopping with us.

Order Processing

Most orders begin production and processing within 3–7 business days after your order is placed.

Production times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, holidays, inventory levels, or the production schedules of our trusted printing and fulfillment partners.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and recognized U.S. holidays.

Submitting an order does not guarantee same-day processing or shipment.

Production & Shipping Estimates

Estimated production and delivery timeframes displayed on our website are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed.

Actual production and delivery times may vary due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • Production schedules
  • Inventory availability
  • Shipping carrier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Holidays
  • High order volume
  • Customs processing (if applicable)
  • Supply chain interruptions
  • Other events beyond our reasonable control

While we strive to process and deliver every order as quickly as possible, Word & Seed cannot guarantee specific production, shipping, or delivery dates.

Shipping Carriers

To provide the most reliable service possible, Word & Seed and our fulfillment partners may utilize one or more shipping carriers, including but not limited to:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • DHL
  • Other authorized shipping providers

The shipping carrier selected for your order is determined based on the product ordered, destination, shipping method selected, and operational efficiency.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout based on the destination, package weight, shipping method selected, and current carrier rates.

From time to time, Word & Seed may offer promotional shipping discounts or free shipping offers. Any such promotions are subject to change or end without prior notice.

Expedited Shipping

When available, expedited shipping options may be selected during checkout.

Please note that expedited shipping applies only to the shipping method after production has been completed and does not shorten production or fulfillment time unless specifically stated.

Shipping Locations

Orders placed through shop.wordandseed.com ship within the United States only.

International Orders

Our printed journals and books are available to customers outside the United States through the Word & Seed International Bookstore, fulfilled by Lulu. Lulu prints locally in many regions, which allows us to offer more affordable international shipping.

International customers may order at lulu.com/spotlight/wordandseedinternational.

Orders placed through the Word & Seed International Bookstore are printed, fulfilled, shipped, and supported by Lulu in accordance with Lulu's own shipping, returns, and privacy policies. Questions regarding an international order — including tracking, delivery, damages, or returns — should be directed to Lulu.

Customers ordering internationally are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Digital products — including digital downloads, companion study guides, and online courses — are available to customers worldwide directly through shop.wordandseed.com, with no shipping required.

Tracking Information

When available, tracking information will be emailed once your order has shipped.

Please allow up to 24 hours after shipment for tracking information to become active within the shipping carrier's system.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.

If an incorrect or incomplete shipping address is provided:

  • Delivery delays may occur.
  • Additional shipping charges may be required to resend the package.
  • Returned orders may be refunded in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy, less any applicable shipping charges.

Lost Packages

If your shipment appears to have been lost while in transit, please contact us at contact@wordandseed.com as soon as possible.

Word & Seed will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the shipment before determining the appropriate resolution.

Replacement or refund decisions are made on a case-by-case basis after the carrier's investigation has concluded.

Packages Marked as Delivered

If tracking indicates your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend:

  • Checking around your delivery location.
  • Asking household members or neighbors.
  • Contacting your local post office or shipping carrier.

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, responsibility for securing the package generally transfers to the customer.

Although we are happy to assist by providing tracking information or supporting documentation, Word & Seed cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages confirmed as delivered by the shipping carrier.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive an incorrect item, you must notify us within 3 calendar days of the date your package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier.

Please email contact@wordandseed.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product.
  • Clear photographs of the shipping box and packaging.

Approved claims will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy.

Multiple Shipments

Orders containing multiple products may arrive in separate shipments depending on inventory availability, production schedules, or fulfillment locations.

Customers will not be charged additional shipping solely because an order is fulfilled in multiple packages.

Preorders

From time to time, Word & Seed may offer products for preorder.

Estimated production and shipping dates are subject to change.

If your order contains both preorder and in-stock items, we reserve the right to ship products together or separately at our discretion.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If an order is refused by the customer or returned to Word & Seed because it could not be delivered, any refund issued will be subject to our Returns & Refund Policy.

Original shipping charges and any return shipping fees assessed by the shipping carrier are non-refundable.

Force Majeure

Word & Seed shall not be responsible for delays or failure to fulfill orders resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, governmental actions, internet outages, supply chain disruptions, manufacturing delays, or shipping carrier delays.

Policy Updates

Word & Seed reserves the right to modify or update this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice.

Changes become effective immediately upon being posted on our website.
